Alvin Kenneth Bailey Jr.

Alvin Kenneth Bailey Jr. was born in Athens, Tennessee, McMinn County. His faith was Bible Pentecost. He is a member of The Ernest Angley Grace Cathedral Ministry reaching into all with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He accepted Jesus into his heart and received salvation. Coming back to the faith that his parents Alvin Sr. and Gail had raised in him in Tennessee. On June the 11th, 2024, the Lord decided to call him home. Before moving to Ohio he would go with his parents to the Outreach Crusade on occasion. He is going to be greatly missed by his parents and family. Alvin is preceded in death by his grandparents Aileen Moore Bailey of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, formerly of Decatur, Tennessee, Dora Mae Hammons of Athens, Hoyle Hammons Sr. of Athens, Tennessee, and Claude Bailey of Athens, Tennessee; aunts Joan Hurts and Marva Bradley of Cleveland, Ohio, Cathy Walford of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dorothy Snowden of Athens, Tennessee; uncles William Hammons and Lewis Cansler of Athens, Tennessee, Doyle Hammons, Hoyle Hammons Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, and Gary Moore of Tampa, Florida. Survivors are his parent Gail Ann Hammons Bailey and Alvin Bailey Sr.; sisters Latina Ann Hammons and Shenishia Michelle Bailey of Akron; aunt Priscilla Claudett Bailey; niece Xiomara Whitney; nephews Aaron McDermott and Jezriel Hammons of Akron, Ohio; one daughter Domonic Wright of Akron, Ohio, and other family, relatives and friends in Tennessee, Florida, California, Georgia, and Ohio. The family will receive friends 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street), where funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 PM. Rev.
